In Memory of Maude J. Farris

Last rites were held at the Bahner-Fox Chapel Saturday, August 29, for Maude J. Farris, 83, who died August 27 at the Pauls Valley General Hospital. Rev. Jimmie Don Gibson officiated. Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery with arrangements by Bahner-Fox Funeral Home.

Born April 5, 1898 at at Davis, she married Mack Farris, Jan. 31, 1914 in Garvin County. He preceded her in death, August 15, 1968.

Survivors include six sisters, Earleen Deen of Davis, Effie Harris, of LaSalle, Ill., Maymie DeSelms of Pratt, Kan., Thelma Corbin, of Winslow, Ariz., Roxie Cherry of Davis and Bonnie Hines of Sulphur; one brother, Guy Palmer of Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were her nephews, Richard Chadwick, Carl Summers, Robert Palmer, Paul Summers, Tommy Deen and Don Summers.
