DAVIS -- Services for Thomas Guy Palmer, 78, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fox Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Finis Steelman and the Rev. Eddie Dye officiating. Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery.

Palmer was born April 20, 1923, at Sulphur to Thomas J. and Bertha M. Nelson Palmer. He died May 6, 2001, in Oklahoma City.

He served with the Army and Air Force during World War II as a member of the 466th bomb group and 8th Air Force. He was a mechanic at Uniroyal and member of VFW. He and Annette Milner were married Oct. 13, 1945, at Pauls Valley.

Survivors include his wife of the home; and daughter, Shirley Grace, Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter; and eight sisters.
