Born to John Austin Abbott and Chrissie Evelyn Whitney in La Grand, Oregon. Raised on farms in Oregon and Nampa, Idaho. Moved to Hollywood, California about 1931 to train and work as a hair stylist. Married Herbert G. Rell 1940. They had one daughter, Pamela. Lived in Stockton from 1951. Devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Loved learning and developed many talents. Giver of much service to others.With her strong faith, she "endured to the end" well.
