Our "Little Brianna Bug" passed away in the home she shared with her parents in Lewisville, TX nineteen days before her second birthday on Friday morning, June 19, 2009. The cause of death is currently unknown.

Brianna was born July 7, 2007 at Dallas Presbyterian Hospital to Bruce and Laura Stephenson. She had no siblings. Brianna struggled with cerebral palsy, microcephaly and weight gain, but was always an extremely happy little girl who had a smile that could melt your heart. Brianna had a love for people and animals and loved her mommy reading stories to her. She was and is loved deeply by those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her parents, Bruce and Laura Stephenson, her paternal grandparents, Carl and Sara Stephenson of Enumclaw, WA and maternal grandparents, Daryl and Teresa Koehl of Garland, TX and many aunts and uncles who love her dearly.

An open casket viewing will be held on Thursday, June 25th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at New Hope Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens with a private family graveside service to follow.
