MRS. PERKINS DIED TUESDAY
Services Will Be Held This Morning From The Log Church
Cecil Gladys Perkins, 40, passed away in a Wenatchee hospital, Tuesday after an illness of three weeks. She was born on September 16, 1900 at Goldendale, Washington and moved to Brewster with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. U. H. Myers, when she was 9 years old. She attended grade and high school here until her marriage to Albra J. Perkins on June 7, 1916.
Mrs. Perkins was an active and prominent member of the Brewster Grange. She was also deeply interested in school affairs and in civic affairs.
She is survived by her husband, A. J. Perkins; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur J. Lane and Doris, both residing at Brewster; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Uh. H. Myers; a brother, Glen Myers, of Reno, Nevada and a sister, Ethel Myers of Wenatchee and three grandchildren. All members of the family are here to attend the last rites, with Glen arriving by air from Reno and Ethel having just returned from a trip to Alaska.
Services This Morning
Funeral services will be held at the Community Log Church this morning at 10 o'clock with Rev. Laurence Summers officiating and R. M. Billingsley, Pateros undertaker in charge.
Interment will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery following the services.
