OAK GROVE, LA - Funeral services for Mr. Gwin Edward Bonner, Sr., age 57, of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 9:30AM on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Beulah Baptist Church in the Beulah Community west of Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Reverend Kenny Herring will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Beulah Cemetery in Beulah Community west of Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
Mr. Bonner died Monday, September 7, 2009 at West Carroll Memorial Hospital in Oak Grove.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ezra Hiram Bonner and Ruby Jane Bolding Bonner.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Faye Bonner of Shreveport, Louisiana; three son, Gwin Edward Bonner, Jr. and John Michael Bonner both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Damon Bonner of Orange, Texas; a daughter, Magic Ralston of Orange, Texas.
He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Virgil Ray and Emma Lee Bonner of Oak Grove; brother and sister-in-law, Lester and Nancy Bonner of Houston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Patricia Bonner of Spearsville, Louisiana; sister, Elna Brasher of Oak Grove; sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Glen Hamby of Oak Grove; sister and brother-in-law, Melba and Douglas Rowton of West Monroe, Louisiana and 6 grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Rusty Bennett, Wade Bonner, Ross Bonner, Charles Hamby, Bob Brasher, and Cullen Kovac.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 between the hours of 9AM to 9PM at Beulah Baptist Church in the Beulah Community west of Oak Grove.
