OAK GROVE, LA - Funeral services for Virgil Ray "Bud" Bonner, age 84 of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Beulah Baptist Church on Highway 585 in the Beulah Community near Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Reverend Kenny Herring will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Beulah Cemetery near Oak Grove, Louisiana
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held from noon until 2 PM on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Beulah Baptist Church.
Due to Covid the family request that you must wear a mask in order to attend the visitation and the services.
Mr. Bonner passed into eternal life on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Alexander, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ezra Hiram Bonner; mother, Ruby Jane (Bolding) Bonner; and two brothers, Doyle Bonner and Gwin Bonner.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Lee (Chavers) Bonner of Oak Grove, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Steven Ray and Peggy Bonner of El Dorado, Arkansas; daughter and son-in-law, Delores and Bryan Traylor of Springdale, Arkansas; son, Wendell Bonner of Bryant, Arkansas; son and daughter-in-law, Wade and Carmen Bonner of Alexander, Arkansas; son and daughter-in-law, Ross and Michele Bonner of Alexander, Arkansas; brother and sister-in-law, Lester and Nancy Bonner of Houston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Pat Bonner of West Monroe, Louisiana; sister, Elna Brasher of Oak Grove, Louisiana; sister, Ellen Hamby of Oak Grove, Louisiana; sister and brother-in-law, Melba and Douglas Rowton of Sterlington, Louisiana; 12 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
