William Bernard Borgelt, 58, of Rural McComb, died at 7:10 a.m. in St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, after a two week illness.
He was born to Louis and Minnie (Mershman) Borgelt, and they survive in Findlay. He married Alice Coakley on June 10, 1945 and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons, John of Findlay; Andrew and Scott, both at home; three daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Barbara) Peters and Mrs. James (Carol) Crist, both of Findlay; Mrs. Jack (Jean) Gray, Frankfort, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Betty) Lord, Strongsville; Mrs. Ross (Margaret) Reamsnyder, Findlay.
Mr. Borgelt was a farmer and maintenance worker for St. Michael's School, Findlay. He was a World War II Army Veteran, a member of McComb First Presbyterian Church and had served on the church's board of trustees.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hartley Funeral Home McComb, the Rev. James H. Nye officiating. Burial will be in McComb Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the church.
