He married a woman named Jemima sometime around 1795, in Stokes County, North Carolina, and they had the following children, perhaps more:

1) Moses Barrow, born February 27, 1801 in Stokes County, North Carolina; he married Sallie Warren (1804-1846), then married Martha ________, perhaps the Widow Lowry. Moses died in 1877
2) Charles Barrow, born 1803 in Stokes County, North Carolina; he married Anna Ziglar in 1820, and he died in 1830. His father's will mentions his deceased son, Charles Barrow, who also had a son named Charles.

7) William Barrow, born 18 February 1818 in Stokes County, North Carolina (birth date can't be right); he married Betsey Medearis in 1818. Moses' will names William's daughters, Luiza and Susanna. William died in 1830.
8) Amy Barrow, born 1819 in Stokes County, North Carolina (birth date can't be right); she married William Hester.

Moses Barrow died in Stokes County, North Carolina, in September of 1840.

The Barrow Family report found in the Brunswick Courthouse reports that Moses was born in 1759. Neither report is documented.
In the World Tree on Ancestry it is reported that Moses Barrow died 3 August 1830 in Stokes County. Source unknown. (This was the date of his will—TH)

Patricia Jones submitted her report about William Barrow as part of her "Doran Family of Indianapolis" in November 2003. Here she reports that Moses, William Barrow's son, ""Received a State Land Grant of 250 acres in Guilford County, North Carolina (Grant No. 2401) about 1786, on both sides of Herbin's Creek, on the Waters of the Dan River, adjoining the land of his brother-in-law, John Forgason. Patricia speculates that Moses served in the nearby "Battle of Guilford Courthouse" a major battle of the Revolutionary War.
She notes that Moses later sold this land and moved with his father, William to Stokes County, where they lived out the rest of their lives--in the area of today's Winston-Salem, now in Forsythe County, North Carolina.

Moses is mentioned in the diary of his brother, Rev. David Barrow, when David stopped to visit him in August 1795, after his travels through Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia. David's report is on page 35 of his diary:
"15th. Saturday morning. Cloudy and cool. It rained a little this morning. At about 9 o'clock, I left my brother's (brother Daniel. After 8 or 9 miles, found that the wind had been much more severe than it was at (Daniel's). I passed through Stokes County, North Carolina (on his way to Rockingham County) At about the setting of the sun, I reached my brother, Moses. I felt much revived in body and mind; for it seemed as though I had gotten into my own neighborhood. Rode this day 35 miles.
"16th. Sunday morning. Fair and very pleasant. There was a Methodist meeting in the settlement this day. I sent word to my father that I was come to my brother's. He came early to see me. We went to the meeting. It was a funeral occasion. The preacher, whose name is McKinney, gave me an invitation to preach after he had done. I accepted the invitation, and held forth from Luke 15:2. I had tolerable liberty, thank God. This evening, I went to my father's. I had a most affectionate meeting with my father, brothers, etc. Rode this day 9 miles.
"17th. Monday. Fair and pleasant weather...some friends came to see me: to wit, Mr. Barham and Mr. Harris. This evening I went and lodged with my brother, Aaron's who lives hard by my father.
"18th. Tuesday. Fair. Came to my father's in the morning. In the afternoon, in company with him and brother, Aaron, went to my sister Forgerson's. (Sister, Hannah, married to John Forgison). My brother in law was not at home. Tarried all night. 11 miles."

Moses was counted in the 1800 census of Salisbury Township, Stokes County, North Carolina:
3 Males under 10; 1 male 26-45; 1 female under 10; 2 females 10-16; 1 female 26-45.
His brother, Aaron was living in the same Township.

I didn't find him in 1810.

Kelly Leighton's document found in the Brunswick County, Virginia Courthouse says that, "By 1815, William Barrow Sr. was living with his son Moses in Guilford County, North Carolina. He had signed over all of his belongings to Moses:
(See "Notes" for William Barrow Sr.).

Moses and his descendants remained in Stokes County and his siblings moved on to Kentucky and later to Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri.

Moses was still in Stokes County in 1820:
2 males 10-16; 1 male 16-26; 1 male 45 & up; 1 female 16-26; 3 females 45 & up; 4 persons engaged in agriculture; 1 Free colored male 14-26; 1 Free Colored female under 14; no slaves.
Also residing in Stokes County were William Barrow age 26-45 and Charles Barrow, age 16-26. They were heads of separate households. (Probably Moses' sons, who died before Moses made his Will.)

Moses Sr. is listed in the 1830 census of Stokes County, North Carolina. His household:
2 males 20-30; 1 male 60-70; 1 female 5-10; 1 female 10-15; 2 females 60-70. Moses Barrow Jr. lived in the adjacent household:
3 males under 5; 1 male 10-15; 1 male 20-30; 1 female 20-30.

Moses Sr. is not included in the 1840 census. His three sons, Aaron, Philip and Moses were all counted in Stokes County in that year.

Mae Belle Barrow North includes a transcript of Moses' will on page 180 of her book, "The Barrow Family of Virginia 1620-1972":
