Jeffrey Allen Davis, 23, of Moody, passed away May 20, 2009. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at the Davis Ranch Cemetery on Hwy. 183, 15 miles south of Lampasas, with the Rev. Max Copeland presiding. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.

Jeffrey was born in Temple, Texas, to Wayne and Judy Davis. He graduated from Moody High School in 2004, and attended McLennan Community College. Jeff was active in football and basketball and always enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Jeff's real love was music. He always maintained a love for animals and leaves behind his spirit in those pets who remain with his parents, especially "Charlie," who will forever be his "boy," and "Daphne". Jeff will be remembered as one who loved life, loved his friends and family and never lost his precious boyhood smile or playful presence. He will remain loved and missed by all whose lives he touched.

Jeff was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Nita Davis; his grandfather, Tommy Kemp; and three cousins.

Survivors include his parents, of Moody; sister, Cari Davis, of Dallas; his maternal grandmother, Lee Kem, of Nashville, Ark.; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends.
