Wife of James Salzner Dean
Anne Marie Bagley Dean beloved mother, wife, and grandmother died Friday, November 21, 2003 at the age of 45 due to the results of an auto accident.
Born March 4, 1958 in SLC to Elmo Woodrow and Cora Jones Bagley. Anne graduated from Granite High School in 1976 and was an all-state gymnast then she graduated with a BS degree from the U of U in 1981.
While attending the U, she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority, danced with the Utahna dance team, and was a varsity cheerleader. Married James Salzner Dean in the SL Temple June 19, 1978. They are the parents of three wonderful children, Stephanie Anne (Kevin) Miller, Michael James, and Matthew Scott; and have one grandchild (Emmett Wayne Miller). Anne had many talents including tennis, skiing, cross-stitching, ceramics, sewing, and most of all, she loved to iron. Every month her home was filled with homemade holiday decorations for each month of the year. For many years she worked for "Sweet Shirts." She also served various callings in Relief Society, Primary, and on the activities committee for the church.
Survived by her husband, three children, one grandson, brothers, Paul and Larry (Cindy) Bagley, sister, Marleen (Alan) Benson. Preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother, Wayne Bagley. Although she will be deeply missed, Anne will remain in our hearts, minds, and lives forever. Mom, we love and miss you.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 26, at 12 noon in the East Mill Creek 16th Ward, 3408 S. Celeste Way. Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Tuesday, November 25 from 6-8 p.m. or Wednesday at the church from 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment, Wasatch Memorial Park.
