Flora Alma Green(e) nee Green, was the daughter of Heman Green and his wife Celinda Bishop. She married Edwin Green(e) son of Norman Green and Philetta Christy in 1877. They had six children: Fred Dexter, Frank Heman, May Lydia, Edwin Phillip, Achsah Belle and Della Esther.

This family generally spelled their surname Green, without a final e, but one of the children instructed that the name be spelled Greene on the headstone.

Mrs. Flora A Green Dies at Fredonia
Resident of Webster Road--Funeral Wednesday afternoon
"Mrs Flora Alma Green, widow of Edwin Green, died Sunday at her home in the Webster Road after an illness of 11 weeks.

She was born Feb 11, 1859. She came to Fredonia from Smith Mills 34 years ago. She was a member of the United Brethren Church.

She leaves six children, Mrs May Shultz of Silver Creek, Mrs Achsa Webster of Westfield, Miss Della Green and Edwin Green, Jr of Fredonia, Fred Green of Gary, Ind. and Frank Green of Buffalo; four sisters, Mrs. Grace Newton of Forestville, Mrs. Hattie Bishop of Buffalo, Mrs William Snyder of Versailles and Mrs Hermie Bock of Smith Mills.

The funeral will be held at Blood and Larson's funeral home Wednesday at 4 pm, burial at the Webster Street Cemetery. The body is at the residence where friends may call until 10 am Wednesday."

" The funeral of Mrs. Flora A Green of the Rood Road was held Wednesday afternoon at the Blood and Larson's funeral home, the Rev. Owen E Rutledge, pastor of the Baptist church, officiating.

The bearers were Arthur Newton, Homer Cross, Arden Webster, Edwin Green, Ralph and Perry Zodle.

Burial was in the Webster Street cemetery."
