Mrs Nellie Snyder, 91, of Versailles Rd, Irving, died at her home Saturday after a lengthy illness.
She was born in the Town of Hanover, the daughter of Herman and Celinda Bishop Green, and was the widow of William Snyder. She resided in this area her entire life.
Mrs Snyder is survived by four sons, Morton, Rosell and Clifford, all of Irving, and Kenneth of Fredonia; and five daughters, Mrs Burt Seeley of Forestville, Mrs Bessie Moore and Mrs Ed Sprague of Irving, and Mrs Lenn Perkins and Mrs Millie Long of Versailles. Twenty-seven grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased by one daughter, Hattie Furlong.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Hole-Parker Funeral Home with the Rev Clifford Chapman officiating. Interment was at Rathbun cemetery, Irving.
Bearers were Earl Long, Charles Perkins, Edward Sprague, Marvin Snyder, LaVern Seeley and William Snyder, all grandchildren of the deceased.
