Carl C Bost, 49, of Mooresville
China Grove - Carl Columbus Bost, 49, of Jackson Rd, Rt 3, Mooresville, died Thursday at 3:30 pm at his home. He had been seriously ill since January.
He was born, March 24, 1919, in Rowan County, the son of the late E. W., and Minnie Barnhardt Bost. He was educated in the Landis schools, and employed with Cannon Mills.
A life long member of Concordia Lutheran Church, he was a member of the VFW, And Corriher Grange. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War ll.
Surviving are his wife Nancy McLaughlin Bost, a son, Clement Bost ofRt 3, Mooresville: Two brothers, Clarence E Bost ofRt 3, Mooresville, and Ralph Bost of Rt.3, Kannapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Archie Anderson, of High Point, and Mrs. Louise Payne ofRt 1 China Grove. And one grandchild
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3:30 pm at Concordia Lutheran Church by the Rev. Claude Misenheimer. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The body will be taken to her home at 3 pm, where it will remain until placed in the church 30 minutes before the services.
