Laura Eugenia "Jean" Larsen, 91, passed away August 28, 2009 in Centerfield, Utah. She was born February 19, 1918 to Neils and Christina Hansen Larsen in Gunnison, Utah.
She is survived by one brother, Leslie (Jean) Larsen and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by brothers, Grant and Rulon; sisters, Gladys, Florence, Thelma, Ruth and Glenna.
Jean was a faithful member of the LDS Church. She served a mission in New Mexico and Colorado from 1947 to 48.
She lived in California most of her life and was employed as a bookkeeper.
She returned to Utah in her later life and worked for Deseret Industries. She helped many members of her family over the years including her two older sisters, Florence and Ruth, in their declining years.
The family appreciates the care she was given from the Community Living Center in Centerfield.
Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gunnison 2nd Ward Church, where friends may call after 12:00 Noon.
Burial will be in the Gunnison City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
