Mrs. Margaret Schmitz, 87 years old, died Tuesday evening at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Robert R. Stapper at Zuehl, Texas. She was a native of Germany but a resident of Bexar County for the last 71 years. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Johannes Real, Mrs. Robert R. Stapper and Miss Bertha Schmitz; one brother, William Stapper; two sisters, Mrs. Adolph Schoenlinger and Mrs. Johanna Pfeil, and fifteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock from the residence. Rev. Carl Knicker of the Cibolo Evangelical church officiating. Interment will be in the Stapper family cemetery under the direction of the Riebe Undertaking Company.
