Born in Perryville, PA, he moved to Livingston County at the age of 3. He had 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Charles, Andrew, John, William, Albert, Margaret, Anna and Elizabeth.
Grandpa Keck married Ina L. Nickerson September 25, 1901 at Cullom, Illinois.
A farmer for many years, he later sold automobiles, insurance and hybrid seed corn in Saunemin, Illinois.
He died of a heart attack, after years of heart trouble. My Dad's brother held him up as he collapsed, begging him to breathe. But it was too late, and he passed away in his home in my uncle's arms. My Dad was gone to fight in World War II when this happened. It was a sad time for the family.
Rest well in Heaven Great Grandpa.
