Agnes S. Coxe
A loving mother and grandmother, native of Amite and resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009.

Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Agnes is survived by two sons, Wayne Coxe and wife Renia, and Jim Coxe and wife Angie; and four granddaughters, Carrie, Catherine, Megan and Courtney Coxe. Preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Coxe; parents, Thomas C. and Mattie Sharkey; and six siblings. Pallbearers will be Dr. Claude Nesser, John Nesser, Dr. David Nesser, James Creaghan, Frank Creaghan and Tom Creaghan. Honorary pallbearer is Richard Campbell. Agnes was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church.
