Rachel (Rae) Schrader Bush, 85, of 1109 Dandridge Drive, died Sunday, January 3, 1999 at her residence. She was the wife of John V. Bush. She was born April 19, 1913 in Plains, PA, the daughter of the late Albert Schrader & Alice Gwynn Schrader. She was a member of the Lynchburg Amateur Radio Club and the American Radio Relay League. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Suzann B. Williams & her husband, Joe; two granddaughters, Rachel Williams and Elise Williams of Lynchburg; two stepchildren, Sandra B. Biggs of New Jersey, and James Dickson of California; and one sister, Dorothy Castleberry of Virginia Beach. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Whitten Timberlake Chapel by the Rev. James Tongue. Entombment will be in the Virginia Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
