John Speier, 89, retired St. Anthony Hospital maintenance department employee, died Saturday, April 17, 1993. Vigil 8 p.m. today, Brock's North Hill Chapel; service 11 a.m. Tuesday, St. Joseph's Church.
Survivors: son, Marvin of Topeka; daughter, Alvera Brown of Meridian, Miss.; brother, Henry of Wichita; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with St. Joseph's Church and St. Anthony Campus of Hays Medical Center.
