Mrs. Toler was born April 3, 1910, a daughter of the late James W. Crane and Nannie Davis Crane. She lived all of her life in the Danville area, where she retired from Dan River Mills Inc. She was of the Christian faith.
Mrs. Toler is survived by three nephews, David F. Crane, Donald Crane and James Hicks; one niece, Judy Robertson; four great-nephews; one great-niece; and several cousins.
Mrs. Toler was predeceased by her husband, James Henry Toler; two brothers, Junior W. Crane and Otha Crane; and two sisters, Martha Hicks and Virginia Crane.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, August 24, 2009, from the graveside with the Rev. Jerry Robertson and the Rev. Brenda Crane officiating. Interment will be in Highland Burial Park.
