Erna Dell Wells Morgan, 82, died Tuesday, September 1, 2009, in Oklahoma City after a lengthy illness. She was born June 17, 1927, in Sealy, Texas, to James Thomas Wells and Ella Lucille Nolan Wells. She was a 1944 graduate of Edmond High School, and serves as a docent for the Edmond Historical Society Museum. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Thomas Morgan; her elder brother, James Thomas Wells Jr.; and an infant daughter.She is survived by a brother, Ray Wells, Santa Fe, TX; a sister, Glenda Jean Wells Moran, Edmond; a niece, Linda Stewart Jones, Kingston, OK; and several more nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held at 11a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at Gracelawn Cemetery, Edmond. Memorials may be made to the Edmond Historical Society Museum.
