88, 1517 Cleveland Avenue, Wausau died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born August 17, 1917 in Abbotsford daughter of the late George and Emma (Ulrich) Schultz. On January 20, 1945 she married Raymond "Shorty" Waldhart in Dorchester. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1982.
Lucy was a homemaker. She enjoyed listening and dancing to polkas, fishing, traveling, playing cards and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lucy was also a longtime member of Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wausau.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Rebecca Waldhart, one great grandson, Tristan Waldhart, her siblings, Lydia Friemund, Lorna Schmelzer, Juanita "Red" Leichtman and Wallace "Atzie" Schultz.
Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Our Savior's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wausau. The Rev. Robert Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services all at the church.
