Agnes S. Leiker, 1601 E. 28th, died Sunday, Sept. 27, at St. Anthony Hospital in Hays following a long illness. Born Sept. 7, 1913 at Catherine, the daughter of Melchior and Mary (Staab) Wolf.

She married Gerhard A. Leiker July 25, 1933 at Catherine.

She was retired cook for the Hays school district and a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors include the widower, of the home; one son, Norman A., Hutchinson; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys M. Brungardt, Hays and Mrs. Barbara J. Clarke, Jetmore; two brothers, Alois, Brighton, Colo., and Alphonse, Hays; three sisters, Mrs. Anna M. Bunker, Greeley, Colo., Mrs. Clara Zimmerman and Mrs. Martina Arnhold, both of Hays; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three step-great- grandchildren.

Parish wake will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Brock's North Hill Chapel. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, the Rev. Jerome Morgan. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery at Hays. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Brock's North Hill Chapel.
