Hanby — Miss Elizabeth Hanby, 81, native of Geneseo, died Saturday morning, January 4, in her home on North street following a long illness.
Miss Hanby, who would have celebrated her 82nd birthday on January 7, was born in the family homestead on Geneseo-Long Point road at Hanby's Corners.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. William Walls, and a brother, John Hanby, both of Geneseo, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted, in her late home at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon by Rev. Joseph Sunter, pastor of the Central Presbyterian church. Burial was in Temple Hill Cemetery.
