Eugene D. Peters, 66, of Enola, passed away Tuesday, September 01, 2009 in Holy Spirit Hospital. He was a construction worker with D.E. Peters Home Improvements. He was an avid fan of NASCAR.
Surviving are his wife, Avonne J. Brooks Peters, his parents, David E. and Emma C. (Peters) Shetron of Liverpool, Pa. Daughters, Tammy J. and husband Gary B. Godfrey of Duncannon, Mandy L. Peters of Enola, and Ginny Peters of Marysville; three sons Douglas E. and Edward N. Peters both of Harrisburg and Donald Peters of Marysville; three brothers, Robert C. Filson of Enola, David E. Shetron Jr. and Shane Shetron of East Waterford; a sister, Tina Cassel of Enola. Seventeen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
