Thursday, August 14, 1958

Hettie Ann Francisco, daughter of Lt. Ballard and Myra Francisco, was born July 9, 1873, in Knoxville, Tennessee and passed away August 7, 1958, at the Gardner Nursing Home at Chariton, Iowa, at the age of 85 years and 29 days.

In 1878 she moved with her mother and step-father to Decatur County, Iowa where she grew to womanhood.

In 1893 she was united in marriage to Frank Foutch. They established their home on a farm north of Melrose, Iowa, and lived there until the death of her husband in 1909. Four sons were born to this union, Claude and Everett of Des Moines, Harry of Russell and Elvin of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

After the death of her husband she moved with her mother and children to Chariton, Iowa. In 1937 she and her mother moved to Russell where she resided until ill health made it impossible for her to live alone.

She united at an early age with the United Brethren Church, and kept her faith through the passing years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, two half-brothers; Charles and Elvin Goin, and one half-sister, Delia. Besides the four sons, Mrs. Foutch leaves to mourn their loss 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, 2 sisters-in-law, Mrs. Chas. Goin and Mrs. Elvin Goin, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Woodman Funeral Home Sunday, August10, at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. A. E. Beals. Burial was in the Allen Cemetery northeast of Russell.
