Geraldine Diehl Pezewski, age 98, of Princeton passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at the Sunnyview Health Care Center in Princeton.

She was born on October 29, 1907 in Neillsville, WI. the daughter of George and Louise (Neitzel) Helbach. Geraldine married Peter Pezewski on February 11, 1962 in Waukegan, IL. She was previously married to George Diehl.

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for Sunnyview in Oshkosh. Geraldine was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church of Princeton and the Princeton Historical Society. In her younger years she enjoyed crocheting.

She is survived by a son, Don (Arlene) Diehl of Oshkosh; stepson, Paul Pezewski of Wauwatosa, WI.; 3 grandchildren, Kathy (Steve) Miller and Dan (Sandy) Diehl of Oshkosh, Shiela Koehn of Raleigh, NC.; 6 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Peter in 1986, son, Bud Diehl, granddaughter Laurie McEssey, 2 sisters, and a brother.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Geraldine Pezewski will take place on Tuesday, April 11, at 10:30 A.M., with visitation one hour prior to the service, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton with Father Dale Grubba officiating.

Burial will follow the service at Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King.

A memorial has been established to St. John's Catholic Church.
