Eliza. Katharina Treutel died April 26, at the residence of her son, Henry Treutel in the town of Addison, at the age of 85 years 9 months and 2 days. Mrs. Treutel was born in Hesse-Darmstadt in 1800 and came to this country in 1854. She was the mother of 8 children, five of whom together with 42 grand children, and one great grandchild, survive her and deeply mourn her loss. (West Bend Democrat, 28 Apr 1886, Page 3).
