Civil War Veteran, 26th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment, Company A, entered the service on Aug. 15, 1862 from Milwaukee, discharged on August 18,1863. He became ill at the Battle of Chancellorsville, Virginia, which led to heart problems.

Herman Sebastian Ludwig, May 6, 1874 - 1912, married Dorothea P.
Christina “Tena” Henrietta, April 24, 1876 - April 22, 1960; married Emil J. Weiner. Died in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
