MRS. HUGGINS DIES AT HOME
Mrs. J.L. Huggins, 80, of 830 N. Dawson Street, died Sunday at the residence following several months illness of a heart condition. Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of Kirkland-Croy-Hughes Home for Funerals at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Revs. C. C. Edmondson and Louis Kennedy officiating. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers include A.L. Powell, W.R. Milton, A.V. Plonowski, Neil H. Williamson, Crawford Barrett, Tom Crum, Lawrence Huggins, and William Huggins. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. George R. Dellinger, John Dixon, R.C. Wheeler, P.M. Davenport, J.F. Ariail, C. Dewey Norwood, T.A. Peoples, Lemon Marchant. Mrs. Huggins was born in Perry, but has been a resident here for the past 43 years. She was a member of the Dawson Street Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Miss Margaret Huggins, Thomasville; Mrs. N.J. Locklin, LaGrange; four sons, Norton Huggins, George Lewis Huggins, M.E. Huggins , all of Thomasville, R.F. Huggins, Albany, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
