Ackerman William J, 69, R. 1, died Thursday in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born July 19, 1903 in Kendallville, the son of David and Gertrude (Strater) Ackerman. He was married in 1923 to Della Feller. He was a farmer. Surviving are his widow; two sons, Harold, R. 2, and Dr. Lawrence, Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Stanley D., and a grandson, Rex. Funeral Saturday in Hite Funeral Home. Burial, Lake View Cemetery. + 10-?-1972
