Susannah Katherine Lower was born to Jeremiah & Mahala Lower Lower in Coshocton Co, OH. Her siblings were Amanda Rachel, Mary Ellen "Ella", George Francis, Elizabeth Anne, Clara Etta, Sarah Sadie Jane and Oscar Warren Lower.

In 1883, the entire family (including all eight children) would locate to Calhoun Co MI - traveling by train with all their worldly possessions aboard.

On October 18, 1887, Susannah married David Auer in Calhoun Co. MI. They traveled to Seattle, WA where David found employment, their daughter Zora was born there. They returned to Albion, MI near the parents of Susannah in Marshall.

At the age of 17 - Daughter Zora passed away from an allergic reaction to the anesthesia before a tonsillectomy operation began.

David Auer died in 1932 - Susanna passed away on Dec. 4, 1930. The family is interred in adjoining graves at Oakridge Cemetery near her family. There are names only upon their stones. Submitted by Great Nephew - Peter Arthur (Lower Family) Rodgers
