Samuel H. Rogers, a prominent Washington county citizen, died at his home in Prairie Grove last Friday at the age of 77 years. He was a member of a prominent pioneer family. Funeral services were held Saturday.
Besides his widow, he is survived by five daughters, and two sons. He was the father-in-law of Roy Williams of Fayetteville, director in the Bentonville State Bank, who now holds a government position in Washington, D.C. and of Tom hart district manager of the Home Owners Loan Corporation of Ft. Smith.
