CICERO ROGERS DIES AT HOME Cicero Rogers died at 2:30 this morning at his home in Prairie Grove after only a few days illness. He had not been well for the past three months but only since Thursday had his condition become worse. It ws thought then that he would rally. His two daughters, Miss Julian Rogers of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. John Borders of Berkeley, Calif., are on their way, probably arriving some time tomorrow. Mr. Rogers was the son of the late Dr. S. E. Rogers. He had spent almost his entire life in this county. Besides the daughters he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jimmie Wilson Rogers, a relative of Collector Cal Wilson; a granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Borders of Philadelphia, Pa.; two brothers, S. B. Rogers of Prairie Grove and John E. Rogers of Texline, Texas, Mrs. Tom Hart, Mrs. Roy Williams, Misses Maude and Julia Rogers, and Lee Hugh Rogers, all of Fayetteville, are nieces and nephew of Mr. Rogers. His son-in-law, Mr. Borders, was on the University of Arkansas faculty in the agriculture college about 15 years ago. Funeral arrangement are pending arrival of the children.
