Clarence H. Leasure, 80, of 513 Spruce street, Caldwell, a retired farmer, died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday in Marietta Memorial hospital after a short illness.

He was born Dec 13, 1892, in Noble county, a son of Nelson and Carolina Wells Leasure.

Mr. Leasure was a member of Mount Tabor United Methodist church.

Survivors include his widow, the former Amy Thompson; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Van Fossen of Whipple and Mrs. Betty Davis of Cambridge; three sons, Arthur Leasure of Canton, Thoburn and Cleon Leasure, both of Akron; 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A son, Everett a sister and brother are deceased.

Services were held from the Mallett funeral home in Stafford Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with interment being made in the Mount Tabor cemetery.
