Lehman Akins
Lehman G. Akins, 68, died Friday at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah after a brief illness.
The native of Bulloch County had lived in Jessup the past 14 years. He was a retired oil distributor and real estate operator. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are a sister, Miss Susie Pearl Akins of Statesboro; three brothers, M. Estus Akins of Alamo and Lester F. "Buck" Akins and Joe Olliff Akins, both of Statesboro, and two nephews and a niece.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church, with burial i Middleground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
