Mrs. Sarah Pflum, 83 years old, died early Monday morning at her home two miles south of Plevna. She suffered a stroke of paralysis about ten days ago from which death resulted. Funeral services were held at the home yesterday at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. F. M. Branic, after which the remains were taken to King's Cemetery for burial.
Mrs. Pflum had been living on the farm with a companion, Mrs. Mary Redmond. Her husband, Charles Pflum, has been dead for many years. Three daughters, Mrs. George Shofstall, Mrs. Tom Parsons and Mrs. Mary Philliber, of this county, Jewell Pflum of Oklahoma, George Pflum of Colorado and Ed, Frank and William Pflum of this county, survives.
