Reist has been a deacon in the Mennonite Church for many years but of late years has been taking no active part in church work on account of failing health. His wife preceded him to the spirit world 10 years ago. He is now also gone to enjoy the glory world. He had lived with his son, from whose home the funeral was held on Feb. 24.
