Joshua & Martha lived south of the Clinch River on Land willed to him by his father (present site of Cleveland). She was a member of the Reeds Valley Baptist Church. Her premonition of approaching death & expressions of devot faith during her last illness were recorded in a small booklet probably published by her oldest son, Elijah. Her descendants treasure these memoirs today. (Page 195 in "Some Descendants of John Counts of Glade Hollow.")
