Maggie H. Seaton, 94, of the Cedar Creek community, died late Sunday afternoon at Takoma Transitional Care.

Mrs. Seaton was a housewife and the widow of Jesse J. Seaton.

She was a member of Cedar Creek Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law: Maxine Seaton Lowery of Greeneville, Barbara and R.J. Payne of Johnson City, and Joyce and Beryl Wilhoit of Greeneville; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Joe. B. And Susie Seaton, Lawrence and Shirley Seaton, and Linton Bewley Seaton,all of Greeneville; her grandchildren and special grandchildren-in-law: Debbie and Steve Lucas, Ricky Joe and Mary Seaton, Jesse Dean and Betty Lowery, Mickey Ray and Clorinda Lowery, Pamela Seaton and Charlie Combs, Timothy and Susan Seaton, and Joshua Wilhoit, all of Greeneville; and Vickie (Payne) and Randy Taylor and Annette (Payne) and Jim Rhinehardt, all of Johnson City; great-grandchildren: Angel Dawn Seaton, Ricky Joe Seaton Jr., Molly Elizabeth Rhinehardt, Cody Lowery, and Daniel Lowery; stepgrandchildren and special stepgrandchildren-in-law: Bonnie and Terry Southerland of Parrottsville; Penny and Gary Way, and Bobby Gilland, all of Greeneville; two special friends: Louise Hensley and Wendall Seaton; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a daughter of the late David and Josephine Renner Humphreys and was preceded in death by two daughters: Irene Seaton and Edith Seaton; four brothers: Orville Humphreys, Demas Humphreys, Cloyd Humphreys, and Minnis Humphreys; and five sisters: Lockie Seaton, Lillie Shelton, Eula Ward, Grace Collins, and Elva Crumley.
