Aunt Nan was my grandmother, Laura's, older sister. The fifth child of my great grandparents, Moses and Mary Mays. Aunt Nan was a cute little lady, and when she smiled her eyes would smile too. I remember visiting Aunt Nan with my mother and grandmother as a youngster.

One of my fondest memories growing up was a family gathering known as the "Cousin's Club" when all the Mays siblings and their children and grandchildren would meet in the Altoona area once a month for a covered dish dinner and family fellowship. The picture shown here, depicting Aunt Nan, Uncle Rube, and Grandmother Laura, was taken during one of those get togethers. What a great time we had!
