Obituary

A Funeral Mass will be said at 10:00 a.m. Friday September 28, 1973, in St. Peter's Catholic Church for Mrs. Dolly Jordan, 82 year old resident of 202 E. Walnut, Woodward, Oklahoma. The Reverand Lowell Steiferman, pastor of the church, will officiate and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Woodward, Oklahoma, with the Stecher Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Wake services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Morturary chapel.
Dolly Dessa Dora Sparks, was born at Brookville, Pennsylvania, on February 21, 1891. and died early Wednesday morning, September 26,1973, in the Woodward Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
In 1908 she came to Woodward County and on April 14, 1909, was married to William G. Jordan in a triple wedding ceremony with William's two sisters, Anna Jordan who married Frank Frost and Nellie Jordan who married Benjamin Stambaugh. He preceded her in death twenty years ago on the same day. She was a member of the Catholic Church.
She is survived by one son William G. Jordan, Jr. and wife Delpaileen of Mooreland, Oklahoma and one daughter, Mrs Catherine Adcock and husband Robert, Accra, Ghana, West Africa and one son in law, John F. Loch of Sharon, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. One daughter Mrs.John Loch(Mary Ellen) preceded her in death on May 29, 1949.
