EUREKA - Arlene Huette, 82, of Eureka, formerly of Tremont, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013, at her home.
She was born April 1, 1931, in Roanoke to Joe and Nettie Schrock Rocke. She married Kenneth Huette on Sept. 28, 1958, in Eureka, and passed away Dec. 19, 2008.
Surviving are four daughters, Donna (Bruce) Wyss of Goodfield, Teresa (Dale) Schock and Rita (Jon) Wettstein, both of Bloomfield, Iowa, and Marsha (Earl) Koch of Tremont; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Norman Rocke, Richard (Marge) Rocke and Eldon (Ida Mae) Rocke, all of Eureka.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mildred (Loren) Schlipf; and one sister-in-law, Doris Rocke.
She worked at Schrock's in Congerville and then became a homemaker.
Arlene enjoyed being with her family and making quilts for her children and grandchildren.
She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Apostolic Christian Church in Tremont. Ministers of the church will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Davis Mortuary in Tremont and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Tremont. Memorials may be made to Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka.
