Mr. Stewart, a Protestant, was a member of Carpenters Union Local 613.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Clance of Keystone Heights, Fla.; two sons, Michael W. Stewart of Dublin, Ga., and John H. Stewart of Chiefland, Fla.; a brother, Eugene Stewart of Wilmington, N.C.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by George Brisbin. Friends may join the family from 7:30 to 9 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
