Funeral services for Mrs. Mable McIntosh of Route 3, Dawson Springs, were held Friday, August 14th, at 2:00 p.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Klahn officiating, assisted by the Rev. Bobby McIntosh. Burial followed in Crossroads Church Cemetery, Caldwell County, Ky.
Mrs. McIntosh, age 84, died Wednesday, August 12th, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, following a long illness.
A Muhlenberg County native, she was born July 7th 1908, a daughter of the late John and Margie Parker Underwood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Bolden McIntosh, Jr. in 1984; and one daughter, Hazel Riley in 1979.
She was a member of Wallonia Christian Church.
Survivors include three sons, Neal McIntosh of Princeton, Don McIntosh and Dan McIntosh, both of Caldwell County; five daughters, Kathyron Irene Lamb of Princeton, Edith Adamson and Rose Capps, both of Caldwell County, Nellie Vowell of Tampa, Fla., and Doris Lowery of Lyon County; 27 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth Cline of Christian County and Geneva Johnson of Elgin, Illinois.
Pallbearers were Charles Riley, Wayne McIntosh, Richard McIntosh, Bobby Cruse, Jim Tincher, and Joseph P. Lamb.
