Mr. Ellis was a farmer and stockman and a lifetime resident of Havensville.
He was born February 12,1908, at Havensville, the son of Clarence H. and Katherine Allard Ellis. He was graduated from Havensville High School in 1926.
Mr. Ellis was a member of the Havensville Christian Church.
He married Wilhelmina K. Blaske August 22, 1931 at Washington. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, R. Meta Area, Havensville; three sisters, Lenore Clements, Denver, Jean Henry, Rolla, MO, and Ruth Baker, Newburg, MO; a brother, Roscoe Ellis, Havensville; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The body was cremated. Inurnment will be at Havensville Cemetery at a later date.
