Note: Extensive research show that the date on Jacob tombstone is his birth year. He and his wife Katherine sailed from Hamburg on Aug 17, 1892 (Place birth was Frank Russia-Hamburg passenger lists) and arrived in New York on Sept. 22, 1892. The Hamburg list spells the name Schilreff and the New York passenger list spells it Shillrof. The ship was Moravia.

He died before 1900 as his wife is living as pauper in Ritzville, with two children Henry born 1890 & Eliz. born 1891 according to the 1900C--She had given birh to 11 children of whom 6 were living. 1910 census she is living with her eldest son, John, and his family in Gradel Adams County. The name is spelled Schillreff by the census taker. Appears she died before 1920 as the eldest son and family were living in Douglas County.
