Death of Oliver Smith
Oliver Smith died suddenly Monday night at 11:20 o'clock, at his home in Ockley, his demise being due to heart trouble. Mr. Smith had been working during the day and appeared to be in excellent health. His wife was awakened by a cry of pain uttered by the deceased and attempted to arouse him but was unable to do so and he expired before a physician could be summoned. He had been a resident of Ockley for twenty-two years, was sixty-five years of age and was a veteran of the civil war. He is survived by a widow. The funeral services were held at the Dunkard church of Pyrmont, yesterday morning at ten o'clock.
