Sarah Elizabeth Rynearson was born 14 Jun 1845 in Nauvoo, Illinois to Merza Nix and Randolph Alexander. She married Emanuel Masters Murphy (already married to Nancy Judd Easters) on 12 May 1861 in Salt Lake City, Utah and bore him 6 children. Emanuel died 23 Jul 1871. On 28 Jan 1878 she married Andrew Jackson Rynearson (already married to Ann Herbert) and bore him 6 children. Andrew died 23 Nov 1905 and Sarah remained a widow. She died at her home in Salt Lake City on the 2nd of June 1922 and was buried on the 4th by her daughter Bertha (Mrs. George H Burgess) of the home.
